The surrounding countryside is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, skiing, and fishing. The shared lounge was a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring, and the shared TV lounge provided entertainment for the kids.The free onsite parking was convenient, and the free WiFi access allowed us to stay connected. We booked two apartments with private bathrooms and a kitchen, all impeccably clean. While the beds were a bit firm for my liking, the stunning view of the mountains from our window more than made up for it.One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sounds of cows in the pasture and a neighing horse in the morning-it truly felt like a traditional Bavarian experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile.Although geared towards a younger crowd, we felt welcomed and comfortable during our stay. The hearty breakfast buffet was a great start to our day, and the option for dinner upon request was convenient. Tegernsee Train Station is just 8 km away, making it easy to explore the area.Our time at Jugendherberge Kreuth Am Tegernsee was unforgettable, and we look forward to returning for another authentic Bavarian getaway.
